OUR GOAL
This started out as a group of young people in Alcoholics Anonymous being
of service in our rural districts. We've managed to stay sober through a
Power Greater than ourselves and would run into one another at AA meetings, marathon meetings,
and YPAA cons/events. The common factor
is we showed up coupled with being of service.
Over a text chat, we agreed that a "rave" style conference in a rural area, featuring live electronic music with other live performances would be an enjoyable and a safe place for
people in recovery to enjoy a weekend. DJs telling their stories of experience, strength and hope.
DJs also spinning throughout the conference.
RAVEYPAA isn't confined to any region,
with it's suggested purpose to be held in a rural setting.
This conference is more intended to make you feel you're at home, no matter where you are in your sobriety and/or in the world.
Just like AA itself.
